Well we have had our big fellow around for 7 months now so I thought I post a picture of the big boy. By the way it's his birthday today. The big 3 today.

Thanks everybody for the kind wishes!! Its been 7 months since we took him in. When we got him he was a long and lanky 127lbs. So we sort of put him high carb diet with lots of chicken and potatoes along with Canadine. Now he's a healthy 182lbs and 36 inches tall at the shoulder. Vet says he wasn't fat but should try to stabilize him at around that weight or maybe a little under. I hope Thunder is enjoying staying with us. He seems to have settled right in.

ok...my mouth droppped at the 36 inches tall at the shoulder. Brinks is 31 inches and I can't imagine him much taller. Thunder is a perfect name for your birthday boy. It must sound like thunder when he's running through the rooms or lying down...

You certainly know it when him and my son Kolton are fooling around.
Here is a picture of Thunder the day we got him along with my 10 year old for size comparison. You can see that he looks kinda thin there hardly any neck on him at all compared to now. He pretty well fills the living room though.
