The aftermath

Our foster Koda has been doing so well. He is the sweetest guy. Not sure what got into him today.....

This was after he busted out of his wire crate!

At least he didn't potty in the house.... although that would be easier to fix! :banghead:

oh my.....did you have a storm today? I had a GSD mix and he did that to a doorway during a storm-he got stuck in the laundry room, and had the worst splinters in his poor feet from it.

Did he happen to look at you and say "My Bad" when you got to him?
The penalty for that would just have to be lots of loving and big sloppy kisses, after the tiny time out.....

A little separation anxiety? How long has he been with you? About the time he gets comfortable and sees your place as "home", and you as "mom", he may suddenly get clingy and have a little anxiety when you disappear.

We never used the wire crates, as a determined newf can easily get out. We use these:

Our wire crate ended up being more zip ties than wire after Nani repeatedly broke it apart. She did much better in the plastic crates. Luckily though, after she broke out of the wire one several times and didn't cause any problems we were comfortable leaving her outside of a crate all together.

Dang! Koda really made a mess! I would email Debbie or ask her tomorrow about this. How about padlocks or something? Can your dear husband repair any of that?

What is the news with the applications for Koda?

He must have been freaking out,eh? My Angus locked himself in the bathroom once and clawed up the walls to the overhead window...we have log walls. The scars are still there. Poor Koda.

Had a BMD terrified of lightening and thunder (in the 2nd highest strike place in US). Took out all the bedroom mini-blinds one time (5 large windows). Something must have scared her, perhaps someone.
