The ACL club stricks again

Well it looks like Bentley is going to have his torn ACL repaired, I am going to try to schedule it before my husbands shoulder replacement, I am hoping to get it done next week,I just had back surgery so this should be interesting, I think I will keep Bentley at the vet until he can bare weight on the leg, that way there will be no lifting for me.
I have done this before so I know what I am in for, good thing I am retired, wish us luck and a few prayers wouldn't hurt either.

Aww nuts. I'm so sorry Bentley needs to have it done. We kept Elvis at Ohio State for 4 days after his surgery and it was probably the best decision we ever made. Let us know when it's going to be so we can be thinking about you and Bentley.

Hope it goes well and recovery is quick. Crycket goes for her 8 week checkup on her second TPL next week. Hopefully she will be cleared to be a puppy again (only 18 months old)

Just got the call from the vet, Bentleys surgery went very good, WHEW, Like we all are I was worried all day, he is staying at the Vets until Saturday, can't wait til my baby bear is home
Belle seems a little lost without her brother so she is getting lots of special hugs and loving

I got my boy home today, he is doing pretty good, he just wants to be by his daddy, so glad the surgery is over now I just hope the healing goes as well

Pain meds and trazadone were Cryckets friends the first week or so after surg.
