surgery issues

Angus had surgery last Tuesday to remove his undescended testicles. His incision was very clean and dry until Saturday. We started noticing pink clear liquid (not blood) discharge. Today it was weeping much more than before and the color has darkened, and a couple of lumps appeared next to the incision (we just took those pictures). It is also very sensitive and that was not the case the first 2 days after the surgery. We were expecting some discharge and sensitivity just after the surgery not 5 days after it. Is that normal? Is there anything we can do to help him. His spirit is very low but he is eating normally. His bowel movements are normal but urinating seems to bother him, but he does pee. Obviously we are calling the vet first thing in the morning.
Thank you for any advice.

Adam had trouble when he was neutered. The vet had me put cold (ice) compresses on it. You may try that to give him some relief.

thank you, we will try that. Angus is already making a point to lie on our coldest floor. Was Adam oozing? Are we supposed to keep it dry? (it would make sense to us as it should help healing)

It definitely sounds like it could be brewing an infection, so hopefully the vet can get him fixed up in the morning! Has he been licking it or anything?

I hope he feels better very soon!

He had a reaction to the sutures. He is on amoxicillin and prednisone and the vet gave him an injection yesterday morning. 6 hours later Angus was like a new dog. The incision has also cleared up dramatically.
Thank you so much for your help and concern.
It means a lot.
