What supplements, if any, do your newfs take? How much do you give? I have been looking into glucosamine chondroitin with msm and wanted to know if anyone else gives this. Thanks!

Maggie gets fish oil daily (on days where she doesn't get a meal of cooked sockeye salmon). We also had her on Cosequin DS + MSM (gluc/chond + MSM) until recently. Since she's on a non-kibble diet, we recently added a vitamin supplement powder call Newf Warrior that includes a high does of Gluc/Chon + MSM. That would be overkill for you I think.

Regular, human grade from the drug store is fine - you can search here for the dosages. There are tons of threads on supplements and others give a lot more than we do!

Glucosamine/chondroitin is widely used. I start my pups on it from the beginning. You can give 1000 mg. Get human grade in any drug store.

glucosamine/chrondrotinin, microlactin, devils claw and milk thistle. Omega fish oil capsules

Nicholas, Evan and Owain all get Glucosamine.
Arthur gets Glycoflex because that is what his Mum wants him to have.
Gracie gets Microlactin.

They all get Salmon oil capsules and Garlic tabs(because I found that keeps fleas away, and I hate giving "chemicals" if I can avoid it)
