Supplements?

Does anyone have any multivitamin supplements and Glucosamine supplements they'd recommend? I bought NuVet at the advice of my breeder, but I'm out now and NuVet is REALLY expensive...

NuVet is also garbage. Do not waste your money on that junk. It won't harm your dog, but it's absolutely not necessary nor is it very helpful. How old is your Newf?

Owain started Glucosamine, Vit C and Salmon oil when he was about 3 1/2 months.

I start at about 3 mo with glucosamine/chondroitin, ester C, and fish oil.

We start with Wild Salmon Oil (NOT GRIZZLY Brand...they all HATE it)....a good quality one from The Wholistic Pet, right away.

We also start them on the Joint Support powder.

And Ester C. Start with 500 mg, then go to 1000, then 1500, then 2000...daily as the dog grows.

This is all for life.

As they get older we add other things for arthritis,etc. (Microlactin, Ginger, and Turmeric)
