Sully post surgery

Here he is this morning. He is feeling much better today, seems more like himself. He was up most of last night, so I was too of course, he was restless pacing and would bark at his water bowl whenever he wanted water(which was alot) because he would get mad when his cone would hit it and get in the way so he wanted someone there to help him each time. He is getting better at it today..

Duct tape around it is suppose to help keep it stronger as per the vet tech. His eye looks alot better than I thought it would, just a bit red and swollen but not too noticeable

I adore this picture, because he finally crashed to go to sleep in his fave spot out back on the deck overlooking the geese in the pond.

and now that he has crashed... I will too :D

The last picture is so sweet. The cone is a big pain for everybody. Hopefully he will recover and get rid of it soon so he can get back to normal. :hugs:

Sully, I know that big bulky cone is a pain today but please put up with it and let yourself heal. It is a miracle of modern life that there are surgeries to fix what ails us and information to help us from all kinds of sources. Emily loves you and needs rest too so she can help you through this healing process. Cheer up; you'll be back to normal soon :)

I know you must feel so good to see that he is doing better than expected! That is SOME cone of shame you got there, Sully!

Poor Sully.... I hope he gets used to his cone. At least he is at home with his Mama. That makes all the difference in the world.

Looks like he stuck his head through the lampshade in the wrong direction! In that first pic, I can't see the clear plastic, just the silver tape.
