First we went to the D.O.G. Bakery (stands for Daisy and Oscar's Gourmet) to buy Sophie a Birthday cake. She got tons of attention and everyone in there took out their camera phones to get photos of her laying on the floor tasting her cake. Then we took it home.
For some crazy reason I got out 3 plates and cut the cake into 3 pieces (doxies can't have the calories).
I put Lola, Sophie and Ty in a down and put the plates in front of them. Once I said OK, I couldn't snap photos quick enough...why in the heck did I think they would lay there and eat their cake nicely like Sophie did in the bakery? They grabbed their pieces right off the plates and ran off with them. Cake crumbs and icing all over the carpet, but it was soo worth it! They really enjoyed themselves.
Arriving at the bakery, I think she is wondering why Ty and Lola did not come along

Sooo proud while she munches her treat and DH buys her Birthday cake
Tasting her cake in the bakery to make sure she approved
Had to keep tasting it because everyone in the store wanted to use their phones to take photos
Really sleepy on the way home
Mom is telling me to WAIT, but I don't want to wait. See Lola's foot in the corner of the photo. She is closing in on MY cake
Mom put Lola and Ty outside while I got to taste the cake in peace
That was the last photo before mom got crazy and tried to make us eat neatly off of plates Bwhahhahahaa
