Hey everyone!! I hope this finds you all doing well. I am dog tired this morning, but thought I needed to write to you all and then take my nap.View attachment 1349

I have started my own business. It is an excavating business, and I find that I am quite good at it! It is hard and very physical, dirty work and it leaves me exhasuted come daylight.....View attachment 1350

I did get up to show my mom all of my hard work and to listen to her brag about how big the holes were and what a great job I had done!:cussing2:[View attachment 1351

There is another excavation site over there, but I think I will save that one as a surprise for her for another day! :kgo_027:View attachment 1352

It doesn't pay much, but it is honest work and I like it! Clover helps me out some, but mostly she just runs tests to determine the range of difficulty, per hole, for sliding under the fence.View attachment 1353

**And now for the rest of the story.....There was a metallic balloon in the next pasture and Sokol and Clover were positive that it needed to be killed. The balloon would rise up a bit in the wind and they would growl and posture at it. The balloon would fall back to the ground and they would bark and pace the fence. They finally dug into the next pasture and killed the balloon. We were all so PROUD of them.....

I have been running in circles! Keevin joined track this year, so on top of photographing baseball, softball and rodeo, I get to hit all the track meets and take pics there too!

Good thing about it though, 2 local newspapers have me freelancing for them for their sports and special interest stuff.

What a glorious boy! Great job Sokol! Are you any good at diggin' up trees? I've been pulling out wild elm and redbud by the bushel. I could use the help!

The first thing I thought was: I'm not sure I would have let him in my van (during the great Sokol cross-country adventure) looking like THAT!!

Question: DID you bathe him after that, or is it pointless??

Wrknnewf, I can be right up to help! With the rain we been gettin in these parts, it won't take me long to dig those holes for you!!

My dad asked me why I couldn't dig fence post holes for him....but those just really aren't that fun. I've watched him do it and I can tell it is NOT fun!

Robyn, been wondering where you got to!

They are very good dogs, to rid the world of that sneaky balloon. It shouldn't have been looming over the fence, threatening their herd.

We miss the stories!
