We took Scarlet to Gardner Lake in Salem, CT today and she got a chance to do her first water retrieval exercises...and she did FANTASTIC!!! We are so proud. She didn't like it the first time she was in the deep water, but eventually, she went completely under and then came up, and swam to shore. I guess we will be doing more of this. :sunflower:

Playing in the water is fun, especially that the tourist season is over by us,
your newf looks like a natural in the water!!

Do your dogs swim in the ocean? - since I know you are on the coast...I lived in NJ all my life until 3 eyars ago. I was wondering if they sense the difference in the salt water vs. the fresh water. I have a lot of fresh water around me, but it is not as easy to get out to the ocean.

Salem isn't that far from us!!! If Scarlet ever wants to play, send me a PM. I could bring Cooper to visit (and maybe she'll teach him how to swim!!!)

The Tibetans would have to stay home - they don't listen well... :whistling:
