sad news... craigslist newfie gone

the female newfie was given to someone else. from what the girlfriend told me, her boyfriend gave it to the first person who came to their home. It just wasn't meant to be for me... but I can only hope that her new home is good to her in all ways a newfie home should be.

We deal with this often in Rescue.. Ad's are placed on public forums.... and we try to get to the people who have seemingly fallen on bad times before some byb can get to them or someone who has no idea what they are getting into, therefore perpetuating the cycle. It is frustrating...... we do what we can.. But..... there are lots of success stories. .. We just had a lovely girl come into the program through a public forum "catch" .. owners situation changed... no longer able to care for her.. so the sweetie went to her foster home and within a very short space of time was deemed totally ok to go to a waiting approved family.. it was Love at first sight !!!!!!!! :hugs::hugs:
