Rescue In Chicago?

I am not clear on the details yet, but I was just informed by one of the girls in my shop that I will be getting a call from a woman crying, talking about a 2 year old newf that was dropped off at the shelter. I have no other details, but was wondering what I should do. Any suggestions?

I'd contact your local Newfoundland club's rescue person and find out if he/she can pull the poor baby from the shelter.

Ok info is Neutered black male at the animal shelter on 111th and Southwest Highway here in Chicago. Sending the info now

Not sure if this is the one he's at. I checked their dogs up for adoption and there isn't a newf listed yet, but he probably wouldn't be if he just got there.
