My cousins wife is 31 1/2 weeks pregnant and has been in and out of the hospital trying to manage preeclampsia. Yesterday she was admitted with a bp of 210/105. They have decided to deliver this afternoon because her symptoms have gotten too severe. Prayers for the safety of her and the baby and for strength for the baby since she is going to be 9 weeks early. Thank you.

So far so good. They started the induction process this afternoon. Personally I think if she's too sick to continue the pregnancy then she's not strong enough for labor but I'm not a doctor. With the way that they are going they said it is going to be a long labor. As of 8 pm tonight she still hasn't had any contractions. continued prayers are appreciated and I will update as I get more information.

She had a c section at 1:30. She and the baby are doing well. The baby is doing better than expected. She weighs 3 1/2 lbs and is on oxygen in the nicu and will stay there for a few weeks. Thank you all so much for your prayers.

I'm happy that delivery went smoothly and everyone is doing well so far. I have to agree that the C section seemed like the better choice under the circumstances. I'll continue to keep them in my thoughts.
