Prayers Answered -A Miracle Happened

A while ago I asked for prayers for my daughter-in-law who was pregnant and was told the baby would not survive as they were positive the baby had a fatal form of brittle bone disease. Also his rib cage was very small and would not being able to breath on his own.

Well yesterday I witnessed a true miracle. I have a grandson who is small but healthy!! I was listening outside the delivery room and when I heard the baby cry I nearly fainted. They were told as of Thursday not to expect the baby to be breathing on his own. So yesterday we welcomed Samuel Wyatt Jude into this world. A true miracle. He is named after Samuel from the Bible. Samuel mother was barren for many years and prayed for a child and she had Samuel. Wyatt means little warrior and Jude is after St. Jude the patron saint of hopeless cases.

Samuel might still have brittle bone disease but a mild form. He is small but otherwise healthy.
He still has to go to Children Hospital to find out exactly what kind of brittle bone disease he has but they feel it is mild as he broke no bones during delivery.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers. This was truly a miracle!!!

YES!!!! I have been thinking of you and your son/daughter in law. My niece Hannah had a similar start (her parents were advised to terminate due to a genetic abnormality found in the amnio that the doctors had never seen so they said she would be 'a monstrosity') and yet today she is a lovely, strong, happy and active 16 year old. She will always be small in stature (she's about 4'10") but she makes up for it in spirit.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
