Prayers and advise needed

Hi Everyone. We just got back from the Vet and Luca seems to be doing about the same.
The tech said that he was sitting up and even sniffed her hand (like he was hungry) but did not eat the food they offered. They ran another blood test this morning and his WBC count is 400...not a very good sign. He is now extremely susceptible to other illnesses as he can not fight off secondary infections. He is in complete isolation and they are giving him antibiotics to help fight off anything that might get in.
He got 4 bags of fluid today, so they believe that he won't get dehydrated despite the diarrhea and vomiting (still very bloody).
Luca has now been in isolation for 48 hours and the virus usually has run it's course in three-five days. Please continue to keep him in your hearts so he is not lonely and doesn't give up hope...I know we haven't! Tomorrow will be day 3 or 4 of the virus, so we're praying that he can make it through.

I am so sorry that you are having to go through all this heartache and worry during what should be a joyous and fun time with your new puppy.
Good thoughts and prayers going out to little Luca from us here for a full recovery. Hopefully the next couple of days will bring better news....

Luca Update
Luca made it through another night!!! Thank God!
He is doing about the same as yesterday, still sitting up but his head is hung low (maybe because it's heavy?)... They are hopeful that he is going to pull through this.
The Vet is giving him TeraFlu? today and then a blood transfusion to help with the anemia and to get some good antibodies in his system. My breeder thinks that since he's pulled through this far, that he will probably shed the Virus today or tomorrow and be in our arms again soon!
Please continue to pray for our baby. I know that he can pull through this and I believe he's come this far thanks to all your prayers and healing thoughts.
I will update later this afternoon.

That is good news. If he can make it through the next couple of days, he should recover. Continuing to send positive thoughts and prayers for your family and little Luca.
