Playing in the Georgia Snow

My dad packed me up and made me go home for the weekend so we could play in the snow. Well if this is what they call snow in Georgia, me and my brother Bean are going to head further north.

Me tackleing Bean in the snow..... well there was some white stuff!

I love my brother Bean, we stop for a little hug time.......

I had him down, but he heard the horses running by and rolled out for a quick look. So I bit him on the rear and got his attention. Notice we are in the really deep snow in this picture.

After the win, I did end up with a little of the snow on my face and grass in my nose.

That's snow in Georgia, eh? Too funny!
This is about it most years, every 7 or 8 years we will get a real snow, but nothing like our northern neighbor's, 3 inches here is a big deal, 4 or more and shut the place down for 2 or 3 days.

I was once in Shreveport, LA when they had a 6 in snow. What a MESS!!!! You could not get around at all. Vehicles sideways everywhere. What made it worse, it melted the next day then refroze as ice at night.

Glad you had some snow to have fun in. Next year take a winter vacation up north. :)

We lived in GA for a few years (Duluth, GA)...the one time we had enough snow to go sledding, we ended up with mud up in the arms of our jackets because the ground wasn't even frozen...but we got a couple snow days and one tiny grass-covered snow man out of it. Great pictures!
