Photo Challenge #199 Big Dog's & Little Children...

I'm pretty sure I have never posted a photo challenge requesting dogs. So, I'm going to post one now
I'm a big fan of the Victorian Era artwork, depicting big dog's and little children. I'm sure most know that newfs were a big part of that artwork. Some of my own favorite picture's are the one's I've taken of my newfs and children.
For this challenge I would like to see some picture's of any big dog and a child. When looking at the picture, I would like to get the feeling that the dog is wathcing over or let's even say "babysitting" the child.

Not a entry, but I liked the picture.

Snuffles' first winter with us kissing his old "sister". Funny, the other day the girl shyed away when Snuffles got close.

My old boss and kids stopped by today with their new puppy, and when looking through the photos I took I caught this little moment in the background.

These are all wonderful but I especially LOVE Dianne's entries. That is SO Newfie!!! First one shows the duo tired after a great day and the Newf needs a head rest and a little bonding time. The other...long, tiring day and what's unusual is the human is the "bed" instead of the Newf (and Saint). Love it!!:icon_bb:

These are both with kids I babysit. Sean was just adopted last summer at 20 months old. He never had a dog and I was worried about him getting scared of Clifford. They have been best buddies from the first moment they met. His sister Anika did not appreciate the extra watching over in the bathtub as she was getting ready for her bath.
