I'm arranging breakfast for the Saturday morning at our Ocean City get together. If you would like to join us, there is a minimal fee of $3 p/p. Please let me know if you will be attending so I can estimate how much food to buy. It will be a continental breakfast type thing with juice, coffee, milk, pastries, fruit and the like. I hope the weather will be beautiful for us that morning!

Also, Famous Seamus needs to know how many Newf and nonNewf four legged creatures will be attending. He has a surprise in store, but would like to know if his new newf friends are black, brown, Landseer, etc?

This is our first Newfoundland get together EVER and we're pretty excited! Can't wait to meet you all :new_smilie_colors1:

I'll be there with Frankie da baby Newf. Jacques may stop by with a dog or two on Sunday...but he won't be staying. It's "local" for us.

Paul and I will be there. With Ben, landseer and Maya, golden retriever. We will be leaving Sunday as we have a 13 hour drive back home. And we will be there Thursday night. Can't wait! This is my first newfie get together as well!

Alas, we're missing it too. Double booked ourselves for that weekend and promised to attend a charity function for the Mental Health Association.

Darn it, Laurel and Nessa! I was hoping to meet you and yours. You will be missed, but a charity for Mental Health...that's important, and Laurel, I know you'd make it if you could. :(

I will be attending with my sister and my Newf "Chumley". He is a Landseer. Also, we would like to attend the continental breakfast as well. I guess I should mention he is a 9 mo. old intact male as well. He's friendly with all dogs, but can pull when determined to meet another dog. Feel free to warn me if I need to keep him away, having no experience with this.

Dawn, NJ is NOT that far away, though I know you have a total hatred for long distance driving.

Bring Ashton for a visit! (And Maggie, of course).

Suse, I wanted to let you know that we won't be coming after all. Ben has injured his knee (we think partial tear) and is on crate rest. On top of that Paul's mom fell and injured herself. I was really looking forward to this, and I hope you all have a great time. Please post pictures.

The socks and shoes/slippers problem is not going away. He gets a look in his eye, then attacks. He does it for attention. It's hard to get mad when you know he just wants to play. And yes...my sister is fully prepared for this. She just got some bad news from the doctor when we got back from Newfstock, so I asked her to come to Ocean City for another fun-filled Newf weekend. Chumley's sock ripping, shoe tugging antics will cheer her up.
