Trond called early this morning,., i was surprised he was up so early. Said he didn't sleep much, he was not cold, two sleeping blankets and reindeer skins but he said the air was not good and his room mate who is a close friend of ours SNORS! Trond said he didn't think it was possible to snore breathing in and out LOL.

Trond also said at the bar last night to get a beer ,and they only serve it in ice glasses was 100 kroner (US $19.50 per glass). I guess he thought that was over the top even for Norway so he and a few of the guys went out to take pictures of the Northern Lights.. and they went sober LOL.

Dinner was Reindeer in a port wine sauce.. he was not to sure about the sauce, said it tasted kind of strange.. like port was just poured over it.. guess the chef did not reduce the sauce was my guess.

Breakfast this morning was lox and eggs.. no bagels, no cream cheese.. awwww poor Trond

I'm glad i didn't go on this trip... Burrrrrrrrr

Sounds pretty miserable! This is supposed to be a 'team' BUILDING trip?

It might work, but the team may be planning to revolt! haha

Team building..share news about the snoring..see if 'flat-mate'..will try sleeping on belly/change rooms to put snorer with a person who has hearing disability/stuff ears with toilet paper or moss/see how long until he can sleep no matter the noise level (think troops in combat conditions..which poor Prince Harry was able to do..UNTIL the gd drudge report blew his cover..blighters on THAT sneaky news release!) or..stays awake..and thinks of what-all..he may be doing within a 24 hour period..where others have to deal with one or more things he does..that cause others to have to either 'take'..evasive action..or 'think' about evasive action. As coaches are fond of saying "When the going gets tough..the tough get going". Maybe the powers that be..were not actually sending them all out there to have total-fun..but to cover it up a bit..with brochures and glitz..then they wouldn't notice the 'mental dead-fall, pit with ropes'..that would emerge..during...the trip? One can wonder. How many women have been employed in the work area Trond is in..and of those..how many went? ina n HB

U guys don't get it.. to Norwegians this is FUN.. they chase the snow, are depressed if there is no snow. They go skiing for Easter.. it's a tradition.. if there is no snow at Easter Norwegians go nuts. I'm just telling u how it is. Maybe this is why all my girl friends here are Americans LOL.

Lisa.. the beds are snow with reindeer skins.. really Trond said the beds were not a problem. He's having a great time all in all.. he's out on the tundra as i type.. riding a snowmobile.

Susan.. Don't ask me but this is building team work.. u know the saying "the rich are different then you and I" well change "rich" for Norwegians LOL
