Darn it Jessica and Millie!!! I think you should cancel your cancellation, since Newfstock is only every other year (last I heard.)

Just booked a cheap flight to Ottawa & will be coming up to Newfstock with Joan, Judy, Splash & Tika. Anyone looking for a roommate before I try to book a room??? I'm too excited! Dance01

Marlis, did you book a room or find a roommate? There is a possibility that I won't be able to go and if I do go, I wouldn't mind a roomie. Let me know. I would only have one dog with me.

Sadly for me, you might have the room to yourself. We're waiting to hear from Mike's doctor to find out when his hip surgery will happen. Only know so far that it "could" happen in September.

If there are any cancellations for rooms can you please post. There are some people wanting to go that need accommodation and didn't book early..

And you should all watch your Newfs very closely.. cause they may end up in my room... :devil3:

Just noticed your post re: cancellations. Due to family problems, I had to cancel my hotel reservation which extended from thursday to check out on monday. I hope this helps someone else. The cancellation was made this past monday.

I'm not sure if anyone here is sponsoring Rescues in the parade for Newfstock.. But if you are..... can you consider me.. I will have darling 12 year old Bear with me and he is a Newf Friends Rescue.. My son is gone so Bear will be with me and though 12 he is pretty feisty and deserving of any support.. I have asked Sandra how to do the pledges so will follow up later.

It's widely known puppies are at the greatest risk of this happening......:whistling:

So my husband just said "wanna go?" when I was reading about Newfstock and Jenn stealing baby puppies to her room. ;)

Is it too late? Do you have to sign up, or just show up? Not worried about a hotel, as we'd pass Toronto and Oshawa and I'm sure something is available.

If we came: what day would be best? Sat or Sun?
