Newfstock sounds like a blast! But I just looked up my drive time.... over 15 hours...UGH. Unfortunately, we won't be able to make it. I'll be awaiting the pics!

Drive isn't as bad as I would have thought - 23 hours each way. Hmmmm, we're going to have to consider this.

click on the link in the first post, it'll tell you all about Newfstock! And of course the Newfs get to come! Depending on where in Jersey you are, it would probably take about 12-ish hours? I'm really bad with stuff like that, so you could always Mapquest your address to the hotel. If I'm willing to do it with a rowdy Newf who bangs her head on the sunroof and a 14 year old, I'm sure it'll be easy-peasy for you!

Lakehurst to Bancroft is about 10 hours. Not sure where in New Jersey you are exactly.

We don't have the 2012 pre-registration packages ready yet! We just put up the details for the hotel because we were not able to secure the entire hotel because of the wedding, so we knew people would need to get their rooms reserved quickly.
Once I get through the next 2 weeks of retail nightmare I will have some time to talk to other area businesses and see if I can get discounts anywhere else (bed and breakfasts, etc).

Allysha...stay with all of us at the Best Western. The more the merrier! Make your reservations now though. Use the phone number from the Newfstock site and tell them you're with Newfstock for your 15% discount.
We'll be staying Thur, Fri., Sat., and Sun. After such a long drive, we'll need thursday to just chill before the activities start. When you make your reservations, can you ask the desk if there's still rooms available and let us know? Thanks and good luck.

Hey I just checked ND is only about a 16 hour drive not to bad.... Now to convince the hubby It will depend if I get a job after my internship but I would love to come sounds like a great time and a great cause!!

We are staying Friday and Saturday night. We have only about a 4 1/2 hrs drive.
Last time on the Friday we had a get together at a lake close by where the Newfs got to swim, it was one of my favorite parts.

We just booked our room now and they said they do have quite a few rooms left!
We are staying the 14th-15th-16th leaving the 17th, even though we're only 2 hours and 45 minutes away, haha. We're going to treat it as our anniversary get away Yay!We are booked! We will per-registrar once it's available

Sure we can meet up. Cape Vincent is where you get the 1st ferry to Wolfe Island. They have a nice park for the dogs right there by the water while you wait for it.Lisa, it takes about 9 hours, and Stacy and Dawn.... Do I smell a NN love connection??? HAHA!
Also I was planning on staying Thurs through Sun... What's everyone elses plan?? I definitetly want to do the ferry too so maybe we can plan it to meet up there!
Re: a love connection. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to post a pic of my son, Ian. Don't worry Dawn, he's at the stage where he lives and breathes ice hockey. That's the only reason he wants to go to Canada (the country that also lives and breathes ice hockey.)

Dawn...I think you need to quit consulting w/ management and just make the decision to come to Newfstock. Trust me, husbands don't really mind if we just pick up and go to Canada. They want us to be happy.
