Newf get together at Put-In-Bay

Sawmill Creek Resort. I know the website says they only take dogs up to 35 pounds, and while I didn't double check when I made my reservation, I'm sure Gina got it all straightened out. I got the impression she does this every year.

Oh Emily...I do hope you, Clifford, and Kim can come. Just hop a boat and travel south west on Lake Ontario until you hit Lake Erie and just travel some more south west to Put-In-Bay. Just goto Newf Neighborhood and do a friend request. Once accepted, you should be able to see all the info.
When I said "alone" I meant just me and Chumley. Things quickly changed and I'll have my 14 yr. old son and my 15 yr. old niece (Kathy's daughter) with me. I need the extra arms for helping with Chumley. Please, do go sign up, and I hope I get to see your gang.

I put in for the friend request on FB for Newf Neighborhood earlier today.
I'm only about half an hour from Lake Erie,I wish we did have a boat to take. It's still only about a 6 hour drive from here. If Kim knows Chumley is coming I'm sure he'll want to. He loves Chumley too.

we have made our reservation. Now if we can just arrange for somebody to look after my 88yr old mother in law who has alzheimers and lives with us. And if we can get off work. Of course if we were working we could just take one of the boats we captain and drive out into lake Erie and over. Do you think a 60 foot Pontoon dinner cruise boat can make it across Lake Erie. Might take us several days at the speed it goes.:yawn:

Several have had problems but do eventually get through. I think their reservation dept. is business hours only. Once you do, they're very helpful.

You can go on and call the resort to book your room before joining the FB group, although Gina seems to be really quick about getting people in.

Hey Jess...are u going to the winery fri. night? I RSVP'd as a maybe. I'm leaving no later than 5 am on friday. I might take Hwy 80 to Ohio since the last time I went to Cleveland my Pa. turnpike tolls were $35 out and $35 back.

I'd definitely take 80 across PA. I went halfway over when I was taking Odin to meet his new family. It's a really pretty drive and there are lots of nice options to stop and let a dog walk around.
