Newf fix

So, went today to drop off things for the local animal shelter thrift shop. I know the manager from my bakery. We were chit chatting, when outside she said, 'Newf, did you say you had newfs? Oh, my sister is visiting and has her newf, Jasmine, with her. Would you like to see her?' Is the pope Catholic?! So off she went to find her. Jasmine was the cutest, nicest bronze girl. She's 7 and came from a horrible puppy mill on the coast of Maine. She's 7 and a typical newf. She let us pet her for a while, then walked over to the open car door and just climbed back in the car. Guess she had had enough of being fawned over. But it was nice to get a newfy fix!

Sue, They live in Shapleigh, so I encouraged them to head to Newfy Fun Days this fall. I reminded them of the date. Me, I should be able to be there as well, since I've 'retired' from the bakery business. Only part time at the moment till I figure out the next move.
