It has been nine months since we lost my little dream newfie, Yussie...... Now we are getting her little sister, Urshie in early November.

I have posted many pics on Facebook, but for some reason I can only post links. I have been unable to post pics from Flicker, I need WayneA to sort me out :lol:

Urshie means "Little She Bear", another Scandanavian name. It was to be Yussie's name, until I found Yussie.

Urshie is a Singleton, I will really have to work hard at socialising her with dogs of the same age. She lives with other dogs, cats, goat and has a lovely fun Family with small children, who love to interact with her. She had a bit of a tough time starting her first few days, but she lives with two vets, who saw her through and she has now caught up.

She is from Canadian and European lines............I am so looking forward to training again and see what I can do withthis little one. She is adventurous and quite independent. I am sure my Pack will teach her some more manners, though her Mom is pretty tough.

Oh my! She's lovely Ronnie. I see that twinkle in her eye that tells me she has the drive and eagerness to work, but full of mischief. I envy you.

I am so happy for you!! I know how much you loved and miss Yussie...your loveable girl...this pup is gorgeous...

I lost so much when I lost Yussie, but now at least I can dream again. I have some amazing breeders, Urshie is their gift to us........And she will be truly adored and take another place in our hearts. We will still miss our little Yussie, she was incredibly special. I do not expect that Urshie will have the same cleverness or drive, but I sure hope she has just a little. They come from great breeding. I cried when I met Hersey again, the mom, she is soooo much like Yussie. Hersey has her smile and her intense behaviour and made me laugh instantly, just like Yussie always did. That is what I miss the most. She made us laugh so much as she was such a clown......Harry has taken some of the clown episodes, he is a funny guy. He is chilling finally and I now realise he is very entertaining, now that he is relaxed. He finally trusts us and has these awesome recalls where he just flies at us with the biggest smile. I love that, it shows he knows we will not hurt him :).......he still ocasionally panics and runs, but they are getting less and less

Always think of any new addition as an alternative ,nothing can ever replace the ones we loose.

Glad that Harry is coming along,its great to see when they trust again.

Enjoy every moment

Is this what all the fuss was about???????? How cute is he??????????? Your lucky to have found each other and I know he'll be a great edition to the pack.

Urshie is a little girl and a full sister to my sweet Yussie who I lost ten months ago at only eighteen months due to perforation in her small bowel (???stick). Hopefully she will love the water and is as trainable as yussie was, but if not, she will still be adored and we will find something else for her to be great at.
