Well we finally decided to get another family member. After LONG discussions we decided we should get another dog. We just were not sure what kind. We didn't know if we should go adult, puppy, rescue or what breed. This is what kind of just happened. A women in our area was driving and saw a man selling great Danes out the back of his pick up truck. :( To make it worse they were only 4 weeks. She call authorities and she took 2 and the rest went to fosters, rescues, Ect. 6 weeks later he is healthy and happy and with us. He is ten weeks old. He has no name yet. I am taking a break from cramming Great Dane information into my brain to introduce him.

And of course one of my sleeping baby.

He's very cute and it's very sad to hear how his life started. :(
However, I can't help but think you'll sure have your hands full! Is Busa only 5 m/o at the moment?

Busa is 6 months and Yes my hands are full! My next couple years are going to be making sure they don't accidentally hurt each other with rough play. Lots of training and separate the play. Never letting them be unsuperedvised together. So far Busa has been very gentle. A lot more then I though he would be. He is still is only a puppy too.

I'm guessing it's go big or go home!!! lol, you are gonna have your hands full but I'm glad you were able to help the little guy out. Only little for a short while so,I'm pretty sure it's gonna be training, training & more training on your part. Zeke loved his best buddy Sonic.

Oh my gosh could they be any cuter together?! It looks like they could swap their spots with each other. I love Great Danes and they are in my top 2 list of cutest puppies! Tell Busa to enjoy being taller for now because it won't last long. :)

What an adorable pup! You are going to love raising two together. My Lab was 6 mths old when we added our first Newfie. Both had individual training and were best friends. I find lots of times, the older pup helps in training the younger pup, especially w/ potty training.

Besides my other dogs, right now I have an Aussie and a 15 mth old Newfie who are only 8 wks apart, both brought home as puppies. They have done great together, even tho now the Newfie has almost 100 lbs more weight on him than the Aussie. They are best buddies. :)

I look forward to seeing more pictures of your two growing up together.

So cute!! Those paws! They're like giant black and white baseball mitts!!

Poor babys, I hope the Mother is ok, and hopefully won't be having any more litters. Thank goodness rescue was called. I wouldn't have had the presence of mind to do that, and would have a crap load of Great Danes now.

Thanks everyone! They are doing so good together. He was house broken when we got him. So that made life so much easier. We are working on being OK in his crate. He does not like it :(. And a getting on a schedule. Play, feed, bathroom, crate. First thing after he eats he wants to play and that's a big NO, NO! But he knows sit and will come sometimes lol. Today he sat and waited on the first try for me to put his food bowl down and waited for the take command. So things are coming along great. But he is going to be a tifter :)
