Does anyone use Natural Balance Weight Management Formula to feed their big guys? Right now we're feeding them Natural Balance Venison & Sweet Potato. How much/how many times do you guys feed your dogs? Titey has picked up a bit of weight and we just want to make sure it's not what or how we're feeding him. Thanks guys! :)

we feed the same as you........the older ones get 3 1/2 cups plus green beans and a bit of boiled burger or some meat......the youngins get 2 cups 2 xs a day the evening meal is with carrotts, squash or some veggie and a bit of meat. All weights are good here. We do feed raw veggies and treats too threw the day. We love Natural balance, no ear or skin issues since we switched.

When LuLu tore her cruciate the first thing the vet said was "get the weight off, cut back her feedings by 10%."

I added veggies as filler and incredibly, even on restricted activity, she's lost 12 lbs (1 pound/week) in 3 months. She's eating Orijen, which is pretty nutrient dense, but the vet says this easy change is the best thing you can do to avoid future joint problems.

I feed Baloo the Wellness Core Low Fat kibble. He used to eat a working dog type of food by Timberwolf Organics but it proved to be to rich for him and caused weight gain. He was as high as 167(he is a big newf but he was chubby) So the vet and I worked out a plan for weight loss, switched him over to the CORE and he is now a trim 140-141 lbs steady on 1 cup 1/2 cup at lunch and 2 at supper a day with 1 icecube block of ground organic chicken, squash, pumpkin, greenbeans, or fruit added.

I feed Roger Natural Balance Venison & Sweet Potato. He get's 7 cups a day. I noticed with the LID they need more. Due to Roger's intestinal issue's, I feed him 4x a day. Roger is a big newf, and I keep his weight at 150 lb.

I also feed Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Venison Limited Ingredient Diet because of Darcy's IBD. I've evidently been feeding her a little too much as she was up to almost 140 pounds and needs to be around 130 to 132 pounds. I was feeding 6 cups per day and now feed her 5 cups her day (in two feedings). I really think it depends on the dog. I hear of some Newfs like Roger eating 7 cups per day, and some eating 3 to 4 cups per day.

I feed Thule 3 cups of Natural Balance Fish and Sweet Potato plus she gets duck jerky and a few treats a day... she's holding pretty good at 120 lbs; If I cut back on treats she'd lose a few ..... LOL!
