So happy to know she is better this AM. Prayers for continued improvement.
Buprenex? I thought they took that stuff off the market 20 years ago!

She is so much better!!! Not normal but better. Her breathing is still not normal. I've looked into her tachycardia and understand now why the wanted a resusitate or DNR. Guess at the heat of the moment I just could not understand. I'm still confused on how I can take her in for what we thought was bloat to get to this (heart issues & kidney/bladder issues) but I guess we will figure out what is best for her, and last night.....being home with us was her best medicine.

I assume they used the Buprenex for a reason (not wanting to upset her belly & to get her heart rate down) but I still need to get a closer look at her. I've kinda left her to getting comfortable and feeling loved today. Tomorrow, I will shave her back end cause today we've had a few issues and tomorrow I need to get a look at under her tongue. I noticed something the other night that I need to investigate.

Thanks so much for caring and asking Anita and thank you all for your support, prayers & well wishes.

Kidney infections are nasty things. They can cause all kinds of symptoms, including those mimicking bloat. Prayers for your girl.
yes it can.... Also calculi can cause similar symptoms due t pain ( can also increase heart rate like with some people or they go bradycardic which is low and vasovagal), but they should have seen them (stones/calculi) in an x-ray or even some on US....I would also worry about sepsis, if there is staff there overnight it might be safer to leave her, but if someone comes in and out I would be taking her home too.
Prayers and well wishes from us
