I'm so happy that you all were able to have this Spring like day to take these pics... I'm sure it means even more to you now. My heart goes out to you and your family.

Gosh, Murphy looks so fantasic here. And you said he was 7 and a half. Now I have to wonder what happen to such a fine looking middle aged dog. Makes me that much more sad.

We are sad too....and we don't entirely know what happened. We believe he had a rapidly progressing cancer, however, in the end it was either his heart (which he had trouble with for the last few years) or a blood clot that travelled to his lungs as a result of the cancer and some medications he was on that made him more likely to form clots. He did not suffer long....we just wish we'd had a bit more time...but I suppose no matter how much time you have it is never enough.

He was a MAGNIFICENT dog, Katie and Matt. Still sad to think about this.
