WOW Great combo a Bernese Mt. dog and Newfie. Love it.
I've been luck enough to have two Great Bernese Mt. dog and a Newfie... but not at the same time :)

We are sad too....and we don't entirely know what happened. We believe he had a rapidly progressing cancer, however, in the end it was either his heart (which he had trouble with for the last few years) or a blood clot that travelled to his lungs as a result of the cancer and some medications he was on that made him more likely to form clots. He did not suffer long....we just wish we'd had a bit more time...but I suppose no matter how much time you have it is never enough.

He was a MAGNIFICENT dog, Katie and Matt. Still sad to think about this.
