Woke up yesterday and knew my gsd cross boy Merlin wasnt right.as my other half puts it my doggy sixth sense was blaring loudly.

Wouldnt eat though drank so got him into the vets and his temp was 2 degrees above normal,metacam injection and brought him home.

This morning he was wobbly,didnt react to a single dog at the vets so have taken him straight back in with strict instructions to run every possible test going.he turned 9 this week and was fine up till yesterday.

So prayers needed for my goofball.l really dont want to.loose another furkid on top of the two wd lost last year.

Prayers being sent for your little boy. I hope they find out what is going on with him and he gets better soon.

Staying in tonight,liver levels are up slightly and platelets and white blood cell count down.

Testing for leptospirosis, and a few other nastys.ultrasound came back clear but tonight he is staying on fluids and iv drip.

Waiting game to see how he is tomorrow.

Still waiting for blood results .doesnt seem right monday he was fine,tuesday off and Wednesday night passed on.he is at the crematorium now waiting to be reunited with his mums ashes

So sorry to hear your heartbreaking news......so not fair.
Glad you have the hellraisers to comfort you though.

Bloodtests so far show virulent strain of leptospirosis. So we are all going on antibiotics including Raven and Luna as a precautionary measure.

My poor boy wasnt innoculated last year because Max and Jessie were so ill.l always thought at his age he would have built up a good immune system and he would have been reinnoculated this year again.
