Oh, I am so sorry to hear about Lukey! What a terrible shock, but a peaceful passing for your sweet boy.

Oh Ronnie. How sad. He was so gorgeous and sweet and too young. I'm so sorry for your loss, but know he had the best home he could have ever dreamed of. His life, though short , was full.

Luke was Nine years and three months old..... he was with us since he was four and a half. he came to us a very anxious crawling dog, he looked so small. He had been bought as a show dog and did not work out and ended up at a shelter. From there he was found by his Breeder, due to his microchip. She gave him to someone, although a heart of gold had no idea how to deal with the anxious sometimes fear aggressive Lukey boy..... We lost Tobias our other Rescue and our Breeder asked could we please take Lukey.... So we did.

Just to prove his previous Show owner wrong, we showed him to his Championship.... He even got several groups and got all his points in very few showings. He loved Mike and did anything for him with a proud stand and a smile.

We will both miss him, but Mike will miss his shadow, because where Mike was, Lukey was to be found.

Lukey also had Cushings Syndrome, which was from all the cortisone tablets he was given in his previous life for all of his allergies. We changed him to RAW. He was never perfect, but he was happy and loved.

He leaves a huge empty space in our home and in our hearts.... But he will be greeted and snuggled by Yussie. She was so attached to him and used to snuggle up with him on the one bed. That gives me comfort, to know Yussie has her sweet friend with her again forever.....

Thank you for your kind thoughts, I wish I could post pictures of him, but NN just does not like me for pictures. It is one of the reasons I am rarely here :(

Love him forever and he will be missed

Sounds like you gave him everything he needed and wanted, can't ask for more than that! Snuggle your Yussie Luke! So for your loss Ronnie & Mike but certainly not a bad way to go.
