Limping

Noticed that at the end of the day, after Tiki is laying down, he was limping a little after he got up. almost like his leg fell asleep, he worked it out quickly for about a week; this morning it seemed reel stiff, took longer to work out, then he is good; He just turned 6, about 115 lbs, lean and active. Any suggestions before heading to vet? Got him on supplements, TOTW, pet fresh, sardines 2x week(can), yogurt.

Hopefully he is just stiff getting up...does he whine like it hurts? Good luck at the vet...we are heading there this afternoon too...

I do give my guys Tumeric Mike. I see a difference. I might start making the paste. I only give supplements to them every other day. I still use Microlactin Double Strength..I l see how that works for me and the dogs joint wise. Here is a recipe for the paste...I also take the Tumeric. I have suffered from lower back pain forever from a couple of bulging discs. Ever since I started the Tumeric, the pain that I had every day is so much better than it was.

Jane, do you give the microlantin every day? I started using it for Merlin and been giving Tiki 1 each am, what dose tumeric are you giving? Dawn Marie was going to givevme some of the paste this week to try.

I gave Microlactin to Gracie for the last 3 years of her life, 2 pills twice a day but I can't remember the MGM dose now. It was really good for her.

I've been doing the paste. Started about a month ago, when I ran out I noticed the difference, so made another batch last weekend. Mike, you should start out with 1/4 teaspoon to make sure no tummy upset, and then up from there. I froze the batch. Did by eye with a baby spoon, so should be close. Taste is yet to be desired so froze I figured would work a little better even though mine only hesitated once. I wanted Vin to take but he couldn't handle the taste, so I need to come up with a plan for him yet.

Mike...I give Microlactin Double Strength 1 pill 2x a day every other day. As of now, I give the dogs 1 Tumeric Capsule 1.44 grams 1 x a day every other day. They do very well on it. I take 2 Tumeric (same dose) a day for myself every day. I enjoy being almost pain free in my back.
After reading how the Tumeric works better with the pepper and coconut oil cooked together, I have decided to go that route. But...I only give it to the dogs every other day. A holistic friend of mine had advised me to dose them every other day than every day. I see no difference in how well it works, so I only supplement all supplements every other day.
I get all my supplements through Swanson. I've had great results with everything I buy from them! I use a lot of their supplements too!
