Lexington Ky. dog show

Is anyone entering the Lexington Ky. dog show? It closes Aug. 17th. I will be showing all 5 days 2 bitches..

Every year I say I am going to this show (to watch). If there are good newf entry numbers I will go this year.

Tula, the show is held at the KY Horse Park,which is a treat in itself.

I don't think I'm entering Mojo but I am likely showing a friends Berner so will be there a few days and will cheer the newfs on!!

Just a heads up, this show is always extremely hot and with this heat we're having this year, please be extra careful. Hopefully they will have morning ring times for the Newfs!

Is there a way to identify other Newf Netters so I could introduce myself? School's in by then but I'd love to come watch on the weekend.

If you buy a show program it will tell the class the dogs/bitches are in and tell thier owner's

There was talk of the show being moved into the new air-conditioned building that was put up for the World Equestrian Games. Anyone know if this will happen? Entries would really increase if this was to happen...

Too bad they aren't having it in the arena. It's a really nice large facility. Maybe next year...

One more question. If I can only come on Saturday and/or Sunday, will there be Newfie events those days? How do I find out what times those events are? Forgive me for my ignorance, I've never been to a dog show.

Are you experiencing higher than normal heat? I looked that it is outdoor show and wondering about temperatures. We're experiencing temps in middle 100's right now so I'm curious. It's even worrisome just getting them back and forth to and from vehicles and walking outside for any length of time down our way.
