YES. We have had many days with heat indices in the 100s and 110s. But in Kentucky - who knows? By September it may be back to normal, haha.

About a week before the show, the superintendent, Onofrio, will post the Judging Program on their website. That will tell the ring numbers and show times. You won't know who is showing until the show actually starts. They'll have a catalog for sale at the show which will list all the entries. Sat. and Sun. usually have the greatest numbers of dogs entered. I probably won't be there this year if Jill's pups arrive as planned, otherwise, I'd help you. Try to hook up with someone ringside who can tell you what the heck is happening. It's really hard for a first timer to follow the happenings. It's best not to ask those standing waiting to show - often their minds are on showing. The best time to approach any of the dogs and handlers is after the Best of Breed judging has taken place.

Okay, guys, going to try to go on Sunday/Monday. Hope to see some NNs there - I promise not to talk to anyone while they're getting ready to show! :cool:

Anyone have any news on what's going on newf-wise at Lexington? I won't make it this weekend so I am dying to know who's there and what's happening.

And, in non-newf news, I have to shout out a HUGE congratulations to my friend Ruby...Her frenchie boy Watson went BOW today for his second major...He now needs one single point to finish.


The really BIG DEAL, though (you know if you have followed her story) is that SHE SHOWED him herself! Way to go, Ruby and Watson.
