With anticip...ation!



My baby shower was today - we returned home with lots of fascinating, sniffable objects...but none so delightful as this hand-me-down pram. It clearly smelled of baby. Pooka was entranced. He will not leave it until HIS baby appears.

He's already on guard duty, and we've still got 5 weeks to go!

Luuucky. A pram! Oh, baby shower fun! Time spend the next week putting all sorts of neat baby stuff together! Swings, bassinets...yay!

LOL, love the stork! I was at a baby shower today too, and she says she's still under the delusion that the stork is going to drop off the baby. I think Pooks is saying, "I make this look gooood."

Incidentally if anyone is noticing how gorgeous and fluffy Pooka looks, it's because our own Newf.net's Donna Campbell, (Docker & Marina's mom), came down and groomed both my boys for me yesterday. She swears they were in good shape but I felt like I wasn't quite up to snuff lately in the grooming department so she gave them a thorough going over. They look AWESOME. And they smell even better.

Oh my goodness that picture of you with the stork is priceless! And what a haul of great sniffies, baby shower, can imagine Newfie anticipation. Orka went bananas when we were preparing the 'nursery' for the kittens.

What shampoo did you use that results in good smells?

I have been experimenting with shampoos before finally probably this week giving in to forking over $100 for the Panagenics. Groomer said $100 is insane but it may be worth it since Orka's skin is sensitive.

When growing up I lived in Scotland for 4 years. I always thought the pram's were beautiful. You're very lucky to have one. I think Pooka loves the pram too but can't wait to fill it up with the one thing he's been waiting nearly 9 mos. for.

How sweet is that???? Both boys are going to be excellent nannies. BTW...the stork is a hoot!!!

Man that is going to be something when you bring the little guy home. Wish I could be there to see how the "boys" react to their brand spanking new baby brother... :)

I can already imagine the scene you will make when you all go out for a stroll.. 2 newfs and an antique pram.. Now THAT'S a picture we can't wait to see!

That shot with Pooka is Priceless! That should go in the Babies Album for sure. The Stork one also.
