I ain't sayin' nuttin' right now, even though Da Broons are leading 1 - 0. I certainly hope I didn't put a pox on them by saying that??!!??!!

Congratulations to the Bruins on not only a well played game 7 but a great Stanley Cup run. Well done! See you next season.

Thank you, great friends and neighbors up north!

My late husband was a real hockey fan, and I know that he would have been thrilled.

Apologies for the actions of a very small number of people you may see on TV after the Stanley Cup finals. Vancouver & surrounding area hosted a very successful Olympics attended by sports fans of all ages and nationalities with a great party atmosphere. Seems the idiots hit the streets tonight. Please don't let this taint your views of us.
Vancouver is a great place to visit.

That never will, Rob! Unfortunately, we too have some jerks here.

Vancouver is absolutely beautiful, and would love to go back there.

Vancouver is beautiful and it's a shame that people can act so stupid! It seems to happen after every major sporting event no matter where it takes place.

It's unbelievable what the rioters are doing over there. This is just awful isn't it Rob.
Not a good image of B.C. and Canadians :(

it is really sad that the aftermath was what it was. I always credit Canadians with being more polite than we are. Maybe it was Americans who started the problems. Guess too many people everywhere just think they can do whatever they want, whenever to whomever. Manners, manners, manners- can we just bring back manners for everyone.

No, I'm sure it was NOT Americans who started this. It was a bunch of young males who started it and got many other people hyped up.
This morning many Vancouverites have gone down there just to volunteer to help with the cleanup.
Many, many BC people are mortified with the rioting.

A small number of people showed up for a 'riot'. A balaclava or face scarf is not usually something that you take to a hockey game in June. Once this group started the mob mentality kicks in the people taking cell phone pictures and cheering people on.
The Vancouver Police Dept has set up a site for people to post their 'riot' pictures that allows other to identify rioters. Very doubtful it was any Americans, did see pictures of a Bruins fan taunting the crowd but could be a Canadian. Unlike a world leader political summit the 'professional' protestors did not make the trip across the border. Yes there is a very large public 'out cry' against the rioters.

Volunteers to clean up- that's the kind of action I think of when I think of Canadians. For those new to NN I grew up on the border, went to school in Canada for 2 years and spent all my childhood summers there so have a real heart connection. O Canada makes me cry just like the Star Spangled Banner and since I go way back so does God Save the Queen.
