I came across this article about a dog adopted by UK soldiers in Afghanistan: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/devon/8450181.stm
"Tangye the black Labrador has survived gun battles and explosions but troops fear he could end up being killed." "Tangye is described by the soldiers of C company as 'fearless under fire' "
I have written to The Rifles website asking how I could help get Tangye to the UK. If enough people write, the Army will do something to help... it would mean a lot to the lads and make sure their Tangye has a long natural life.
Please go to "The Rifles" web site and appeal to the Army: http://www.army.mod.uk/15366.aspx
This is what I sent:
I would like to help the lads of C Company, 3rd Battalion, The Rifles, to get their mascot dog Tangye a home in the UK.
How can I help get Tangye to the UK?
end
