Hi! Yes, as pipelineozzy told you, I am looking for Newf fur! I'm going to spin it with an appropriate other fiber and make yarn!
Newf fur has to be prepared and stored properly to be usable - Completely dry, only undercoat, from a mostly clean dog. By mostly clean, I mean no vegetable matter or fecal/urine matter in it. The best way is to do a "blow out" or brush out with a slicker or fine comb and gather that dry hair in a paper grocery bag with a used dryer fabric softener sheet in it. ANY moisture at all will cause mold to happen in that bag and destroy the furn.
But, yes, if it comes with minimum leaves/grass and doesn't mold on the way, I'd LOVE to have white undercoat from your handsome dog!
