Hello everyone! I just want to thank GAD and all of you for making this forum so informative. I have been reading posts since "Lil" Larry was 4 weeks old and we first met him. He is 13 weeks this sunday. He has been with us for about 3 weeks. This is our first Newfie and he is everything we wanted in a dog. He is the cutest dog ever! (I'm partial ha ha) We have been dealing with a bout of "walking dandruff" (my house has never been cleaner !!) and his itching is much improved. I have used this forum to research food and grooming and just about everything that a "new newfie mom" should know! This is my first post and just want to thank you all again! Larry is our only dog right now. We have had three dogs in our lives, Pebbles, mixed pitbull rottweiler (our first dog), Bob (2nd) Cheasepeak Bay Retriever, and a rescue 8 yo German Shepherd that in August lost his battle against fistulas at 10 1/2 yo. We loved them all so much. We fell in love with the newfie breed after doing a lot of research and new this is the dog we wanted !! Larry lives in the Seattle area. We spend most of the time in the summer at the lake. This should be ideal for our new bundle of joy !!!
