keep me in your thoughts for this Friday. I had my mammogram last Wednesday and was phoned by my doc to please come back for "additional imaging studies". I'm sure it's like last time they did this and found I have cysts, but you always have a little "ugh" feeling in the pit of your stomach when the Normal/Negative box isn't checked.

I've had to do the whole ultrasound, etc thing before and I'm sure that's all this is, but....:)

Keeping you in my thoughts during this time. I went through the same thing last month and understand how you feel, it's a terrible feeling waiting for the second result. Mine turned out fine... it's good to know they are double checking if there is a question... :)

:grouphug: Sending hugs, prayers, and healing wishes. Better to be safe than sorry and have them check everything very carefully a second time. Please keep us updated. :grouphug:

Ill keep you in my prayers. After my bout with Uterine Cancer I had a pap and was called to come in because it came back 'insuffient'. I was very worried to say the least.

Oh I understand that. I had an abnormal pap twice in a row and they did a biopsy and removed a good sized spot - fun stuff - no anesthesia. Earlier in the year, had a surgery to remove parts from a very private place because of a mole that had grown significantly. Definitely better to be safe than sorry. I'm still slightly nervous. Good glass of wine and a jog earlier....thinking of maybe taking a hot bath :)

Sending my thoughts and prayers your way. I am overdue and need to schedule an appointment. My sister had the same scare as you and was called back to find everything was just fine. I hope you enjoyed that much deserved glass of wine.

I went thru this too....it all turned out okay, but scares the life out of you while they "double check". Best of luck!! Crossing everything I can...please keep us posted.

Well I have to go back in 6 months. Additional spots have shown up on one side, more calcifications. The interpreting radiologist was in and blew up the scans so he could get a better look and felt everything was benign, but to be safe, wants to rescan me in 6 months and make sure stuff looks okay. So there we go.

Endo appt was great. BP was all within norms (I have thyroid disease and high bp as a result thus am taking meds for both). Earlier in the year with the cancer scare with hubs, we made a change in our lifestyles and started exercising MORE and eating better. I've lost a few clothing sizes as has hubs. My endo said I don't know what you're doing, but keep it up! : )
