Hi
I cannot believe it was only a year ago today that I drove 4 hours in a rain storm to get our River! I was going through such a terrible time losing my Timber but I knew (for months I knew) I wanted River. She never missed a beat from day one, sleeping on the floor on my side of the bed, knowing all her basic commands and what she is best known for - being super affectionate and friendly. My son adores her and she loves him. My husband and I can't get over how perfect we all fit together. River is doing so well physically, in fact, she doesn't take metacam any longer. Our routine of exercise, massage, and a good diet with regular vet check ups seems to agree with her. I love my girl, she has been a total blessing in my life - I only hope she feels the same. If her frenzied kisses and spins she launches herself into everyday when I get home from work are any indication of her happiness then I think we're safe. Where did that year go? time sure flies when you're blissfully happy! This is truly a day worth celebrating in our family. Thanks River for being you.
