Elvis has developed some weird obsession with eating the grass clumps after we mow. He'll run out there and start chowing down like he's the first one through the salad bar. He's never out there alone so we see him do this and try to get the grass out of his mouth.
We don't have any chemicals on the lawn but I can't imagine it's a good thing for him to eat giant clumps of grass. We don't always have clumps after mowing, but we mowed today after a lot of rain and forgot to bag the clippings. He never goes out there and eats grass any other time which is why it's so weird to us.
Is this something we really need to stop him from doing? I have no problem pulling hunks of slobbery grass of his tongue, but my husband is a little hesitant to do so and he's the one who let's him out in the morning.
