~Normally, it's a job for the Shop Vac, but tonight...I SWEPT!!
Mr B ordered the Mars Coat King and it arrived yesterday.

The last time I was this happy, the Lil Baby Dog arrived!

It's a dangerous sort of contraption indeed, and there's a "hole" in his thigh hair, but it was our first shot at it! ( That thing is amazing!! )
Came home from work today to what I'd say was a 'regular' amount of dog hair from a NORMAL dog!
( I know some of you may think that I meant to say a normal SIZED dog, and you'd be right, I meant that too, but for those that know Buford, I also meant exactly what I said....)

I like your description of the MCK - it is a very dangerous contraption!

Okay, that does it. I must have one. Even though Sunshine is shaved(long story)it will be in the drawer waiting when that coat grows in!

I too got a tad carried away on Pae's yak butt in one spot..Didn't take long for it to start to fill in though.
I absolutely love this tool but yes...one does need to be careful with it.

I love MCK, too. I was doing some thinning yesterday at the dog park with it. I just keep it away from the tail. Everything else is fair game. And if there is a little matt starting somewhere, as Winston had on his belly, the MCK just whips it out. I love the tool particularily for this warm weather ... the thinning helps these hot newfs.

I tried a MCK at Karen's first, and I was given warning, I may have been doing it to aggressively :) There is a small spot on Snuffles' back thigh that seems to have littel to no guard coat. I always wonder if I am too aggressive with any brush there.

Hehe, I did use my MCK the other day sparingly and put the fur in the yard waste garbage can. The next day, Mom went to trim a bit on the hedge, opened the lid, and got scared, thinking there was something a live and furry in the garbage can. Yes, you can sure take out a lot of fur without really trying.
