I found a great clearance on a cooling pad, and thought it would be a great idea for Drako to enjoy it in this awful summer time! WRONG... I received it today, and I decided to let him try it. After more than an hour of both of us laying on it and making sure he was comfortable and not chewing it, I decided to leave it on the floor.
I was in the kitchen doing some dishes while watching how he was laying on it and playing with his Kong toy. Few minutes later a guilty face came into the kitchen (you know... with that classic "wasn't me" eyes). I immediately start checking everywhere for potty accidents or anything out of place. Went to check the pad and found that one of the corners was chewed! and realized that he even make a little hole on it! Of course first reaction was "OMG! he ate the gel stuff!!" After checking him and checking the pad I realized that he was probably pulling the corner up making the gel to go down forming a lump of gel not near to the new aperture. My vital signs came back almost to normal (almost, I am still checking for any sign of out of normal behavior).
Yeah, I know is my fault! too naive. Now, I'm traumatized about using cooling pads with him! and on top of it I can't even fix it or return it.
Lesson learned: No cooling pads until he is completely out of the teething phase (and not even sure if I will even try after that)... and no Drako you will not convince me with those puppy eyes! :nono:
We went for a walk and when we came back he was searching for the pad and sitting where the pad was laying.
