This morning, I was having my perfect morning-sitting in my pj's, drinking coffee, watching HGTV, and knitting. DH is playing golf, so I am watching HIS puppy.

She looks cute, but thinks that she is in charge and loves to fight with Bogie. While running around with Bogie, she got the yarn that I was knitting with and proceeded to run with it and start pulling out the knitting! Luckily, I got her to stop and was able to fix it without much trouble. Maddie is the smart one. When the puppy, Vandy, starts, she goes under the kitchen table. Next time, I'm picking out the puppy and it is definitely going to be another Newf!

She's a beautiful Lab! And they're feisty (and very active) for a LONG time...so keep the prozac handy! :)

Oh but look at her wrinkly forehead! And those eyes!!! Trust me, I feel your pain. My Murphy drove me batty for the first two years of his life. He's now 2 yrs and 3 months and is JUST starting to settle down...and I use that term loosely. Like...he will stop moving for about a minute to pay attention. Otherwise, GAME ON! But they are GREAT dogs and very intelligent. She'll settle down before you know it. This has been my M.O.- RUN THE CRAP OUTTA THEM and then give them a chew bone. Works.
