It breaks my heart to write this.

Yesterday we had to let Decker go. His severe SAS got worse and his quality of life for a pup was nil. It was exactly 5 months to the day that we got the news the SAS had gone from minimal to severe.
He was the most gentle loving little guy I have had.

Decker, May 9th 2015 to June 21st 2016, just 13 months old.

Oh no Angela! So very sorry to hear this. What a short life. But he had the best family any dog could have!

Sorry to hear that Decker is gone. 13 months is so young but at least he had a happy life and you didn't let him suffer. Godspeed sweet Decker. Angela, my prayers are with you.

Its hard to let them go when they are so young but its quality of life that is so important.its a decision that is so hard and yet it has to be done.and all we can do is love them unconditionally

OMG. Angela, I am so deeply sorry you lost your boy. He was such a joy and deserved a much longer life. But you always put his happiness first and were able to be there for him when he needed you to make tough decisions. He was a very lucky boy to have such a great Mom.

I am so sorry to hear about Decker. I lost my Claude at 16mo. and I remember how hard it was. How is Owain doing?
