Crate for an adult Newfie?

Hey guys!

Loki is very close to having outgrown his current crate, which was the biggest one I could find at Costco back when I got it. Does anyone have experience with ordering an adult-Newfie crate from the Internet, and if so, where did you get it and what size did you get?

I ran a quick search and couldn't find any threads on the topic, but if it's already been discussed, feel free to point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

If you google or bing "great dane crate" something should pop up. However, if you don't think your pup will be that big, the 48 inch crate should do fine. That is what I have used for both my girls who are/were very average sized female newfs. Gracie weighs about 115 and is (I think) abou 26=27 inches tall. She doesn'at spend a lot of time in there, mostly just goes in for a nap once in a while.. Try Mid West Crates.

It's amazing how they fit into an extra large crate. Moonlight is currently asleep upside down with all four feet in the air and head turned to the side in hers and has slept "comfortably" in it for almost 9 years.

Nala sleeps in that exact same position! I thought she was just a weirdo . Guess not.

We have a great dane crate for Jake and he still has to curl up as he is very long. But as far as height it is great. We got ours at Petsmart also.
