He stole about a half dozen brownies Off the stove top while I carried 2 into the next room for DD an her friend.

And now he is gracing the kitchen with room clearing gas while I try to make dinner. Ugh!

Just had to share. LOL.

Annnnd now he has the runs. Sigh.

There was about 1/2 pan left when he got them. Entire recipe has 4 oz bakers chocolate and he got about 1/4 of the batch - so 1 oz.

Gave him a Pepcid and am hoping its just a mild upset...he once ate a half batch liquid hot from the oven with no ill effects...

ROFL! When I read these stories, I look at Thor and thank my lucky stars! He still has yet to steal food and I try to set him up to catch him in the act and nope, he doesn't thought a thing. He will clean the floor in the kitchen like crazy though.

Oh, Coopah! A boy-Newf after Mila's heart. His sister from another mister destroyed Rowan's dinosaur hat 2 days ago and then ate an entire roll of toilet paper this morning

Sorry you are dealing with the aftermath of his bad behavior!

Maggie stole a chunk of leftover corned beef from the trash one year (one of those items forgotten in the back of the fridge for 2 weeks, then in the trash for a couple of days...eww). And had the same problems as Coop....all night long! I feel your pain.

The thread makes me laugh. I can't tell you how many times I called Poison Control and the vet for something Maggie had eaten. ( She ate 1/2 pan of brownies we had thrown away, and I called the vet in a panic. She gave them back later that evening!)

She has stopped destroying things. :allg069: It does stop, have faith!

This must be his second childhood, then, he is 6! LOL! He never stole a thing till we got him neutered (almost 5 years old). Go figure.

Silly boy! Hazel consumes ball point pens any chance she can get. She ate my bluetooth a few days ago. When she's old and gray, I've no doubt she'll still be munching on taboo items...

I have heard from others, that a boy's appetite can increase after neutering, so that may be why. Glad the bakers chocolate did not bother him too much as it is poisonous to dogs.

Totally relate!! Welcome to the wonderful world of Newfies and insanity..... Daria stories abound on this forum. Here's here newest chapter......this week....

Garbage day is Wed and he's here by 10 a.m. Always. Without fail. Daria is the oldest of my crew and the only one allowed outside without supervision. I never let her out before 10 but after, since my guy is so regular, of course she's allowed. ehh.......the tide changed on this day..
