Tis the season! So anything decorated with Christmas lights, (but Please do not wrap Christmas lights around your Newf or other pets) :)

We were decorating the Christmas tree last weekend, and our grandson (who is just 3) was SO excited about helping. Here, he's on the floor, looking up into the tree at the ornaments.



The view from our front hall. I love how the tree lights up that corner of the room...and yes, that's O'Malley kitty on the chair next to the tree.

Wish I had a picture. 3 years ago we had a MAJOR ice storm. The City said to pile your limbs by the street, and they would pick them up. It did take a while. Some folks on the next block strung lights on their big pile of limbs. It was kind of neat and different.

Thank you! He has just turned 3, so this is the first year he really understands what is going on. He was SO excited when I got out the box of ornaments and asked him to help. He was being very careful with the breakables, making sure to get the hooks over the branches so the balls wouldn't fall off.

Third place goes to Debbie. Your picture is very festive and welcoming. Laurel, I love the picture of you Grandson, he is too cute, and that picture of him is a keeper for sure. But it's your second picture (A view from the front hall) that really caught my eye. I love the warm colors, and your tree lights really stand out, so I am giving it second place First place just has to go to Drakese. The technical quality of the photo is excellent, the uniqueness of the location, and the creativity and lighting is perfect. Wow!Thanks to all that entered
