According to Gary I just did the unthinkable. I washed a white tank top with the colored clothes. I want to wear it tomorrow so I tossed it in. Gary thinks the world is coming to an end

*laughs*
Did you marry a Laundry Nazi too?
I've been with my hubby since 97 and only this past year did I figure out his laundry system.
IMHO, it wastes a LOT of money.
Cold. Permanent Press. It's the answer to all life's prayers save the delicates. Then it's Cold, Delicate/Handwash.
Duh.

Toss it in again with a deep pink colored towel and you'll end up with a new tank.........:D

Tell Gary to take a chill pill. Tank's can be replaced, you cant:icon_bb:

Washing a white shirt with colored clothes is way better than the time I washed my Mom's suede skirt-and then threw it in the dryer. And today I washed a pink shirt with dark clothes, and the world is still spinning.:D

Hah. Well if color transfers happen, you can always get product at the grocery store to pull them back out again.

It must be a guy thing. Andy likes his laundry all divied up nicely according to color. Ha! So he does it himself! I just throw it all together.

This is funny, I am under no circumstances allowed to do laundry. I have made tie-dyed clothing:ah:, washed a dry clean only:shocker:, so no laundry for me.:D

Ok, you could knock me over with a feather. My husband doesn't even know what those white machines in the laundry room ARE. When I once suggested he could run a load through himself...he told me he didn't know how to work them. I had to tell him, since I am able to run all the farm machinery, I'm betting he can figure out the maytags.

Well, if you didn't have any "new" dark colors in there the chance of them running is pretty miniscule. Obviously Gary didn't know that, maybe he needs to practive more on the laundry- then he wouldn't worry so LOL

I don't worry about it because all our clothes have been washed so many times they don't leech colour, but my mother used to freak out everytime I tossed something in the wrong load.

Glad the white tank top is unharmed!
