Brown Landseer - Rare?

I did see a couple of brown and whites for sale in Australia. they were cheaper and came with a desexing contract.
I am a firm believer in sticking with the breed specs in pure breeds (horses and dogs). But i feel they still make great pets and I would never expect them to be put down. I think desexing is the best idea

That's exactly what I did with the dog in question: I discounted her and required a spay contract. She's turned out to be a wonderful pet and I still see her occasionally.

I bought my Taz, 15 months old, from a breeder using "puppyfind.com", I had several questions regarding the low price, he claimed he had a hard time selling his black Newfs, I read his reviews..all good. A month later I made the 12 hour trip from MN to MI and was absolutley mortified. I will call what I seen a "puppy mill". He had over 50 adult dogs, most were brown, grey or brown with white and grey with white, not one could've weighed in over 80lbs. Yes I still took the dog home, we jokingly say we have a new MINI NEWF breed. The breeder claimed he had the AKC coming to his home shortly following our visit for a meeting, he said he had them convinced to include brown/white and grey/white as acceptable for AKC standards....I am, to this day the only one who has left a bad review..I don't get it.
